I have for the pass 6 months been suffering in silence with pain in my right hip; I have had sessions with an Osteopath and lived on non-steroidal tablets (Ibruphen).

But after spending a night on a village hall with my Cub Scouts I was in absolute agony.

After persevering with the pain and the embarrassment of trying not to get stuck in bed ; I admitted defeat and so let my Children call an ambulance to take me into hospital. (it was either this or wet/mess the bed!!)

At first the Doctor said because my hip was neither bruised, swollen or had not had any trauma to it, then it was going to be muscular.

They sent me for an X-ray and low and behold they did find an issue with my hip.

The Doctor said I needed to see an Orthopaedic Consultant, but savvy me had already spoken to my #privatemedicalinsurance who said if I needed anything then just call back.

Needless to say when I was discharged I called my #privatemedicalinsursance back.

The current wait time in Milton Keynes to see a Consultant in 45 weeks; but after getting a referral letter from my GP; I am booked in with a Consultant in 3 weeks.

THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS – CAN YOU AFFORD NOT TO HAVE #privatemedialInsursance?

To find out more then talk to Judith West (was Heale) about her great plans with #wpahealthcare
